Although we are processing orders as usual, we are experiencing some small delays in getting your items to you.
Over the last few days we have had an exceptionally high number of orders which have taken us over our ‘pick and pack’ capacity in the warehouse. We have put social distancing measures in place which means that our staff are always at least 2m apart, as a result the pace in the warehouse has slowed quite significantly from pre-COVID19 rates. All non-warehouse staff are working from home, which has slowed things a little too. We expect to clear the backlog in the next few days.
Around 60% of deliveries are taking place as expected on a next working day basis, but around 40% are experiencing delays in the pallet delivery network by 1-3 days due to food and medical deliveries being prioritised and some staff shortages.
You can still place an order but, at this time, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding as your order may be delivered in 5-7 working days instead of the usual next working day.
If your delivery does not arrive within 7 working days of the order date then please make contact with us via email and we will assist you. This contact period will enable our staff to focus on clearing the order backlog.
