Preheat the grill to 200°c and set up for two zone cooking.

Prepare the chicken by seasoning well with salt and pepper.
3.
Open the can of cider and pour 100ml into a saucepan and set aside. Put the chicken on top of the can of cider by pulling the chicken cavity over the can. Place the chicken on indirect heat.
4.
Close the lid and allow the chicken to cook for at least an hour.
5.
When the chicken nears reaching a safe eating temperature of 75°c prepare the cider glaze by adding the sugar, honey and cornflour slurry to the lemon cider and reducing on a medium heat on the side burner until it becomes a thick glossy sauce.
6.
Glaze the chicken all over with the marinade and close the lid for another ten minutes to allow the sauce to cook through.
7.
Remove the chicken from the grill and carefully remove the cider can.
8.
Slice the chicken and serve with your favourite kind of rice or noodles and enjoy!
