Add the marinade ingredients to a mixing jug and combine.

Place your steak in a dish and coat in marinade. Allow to marinade in the fridge for 1 – 4 hours.

Preheat the grill to 230°C.

Place the steak over direct heat to sear for approximately 2 minutes by which time grill marks and crust should form on the outside. Flip and repeat on the other side. Remove from direct heat and place on the warming rack to continue to cook. Close the lid.

Once the steak has reached 60°c, remove from the grill and allow to rest for about 10 minutes.

Add all ingredients in a bowl and combine thoroughly.

If time allows, pre soak your cucumbers in the salt and allow to sit for half an hour to allow the moisture to be drawn out. This is an optional step however. Remove the excess salt and place in a serving dish.
8.
Slice the steak into strips and pour the sauce over the steak and cucumbers and garnish with sesame seeds.
