These baked sliders are perfect for entertaining, and can be scaled up very easily! Obviously you can mix and match the fillings to suit your tastes: pepperoni, minced meat, grilled vegetables such as courgettes and peppers and sliced steak will all work well. The pineapple and honey bring a distinctive sweetness to this recipe – if you’re a fan of ham and pineapple pizza, you will love these sliders.

Preheat two gas burners on the Jupiter Outback BBQ and set the heat to medium (around 180C).

Make the sandwiches by buttering the rolls and topping with butter, ham, cheese, pineapple and jalapenos.
3.
Mix the melted butter, poppy seeds and honey, stirring well until everything is combined.
4.
Fit the sandwiches snugly into a roasting tray or skillet and pour the glaze over the top, spreading it around so the rolls are evenly coated.
5.
Cover the sliders tightly with foil and place on the BBQ over indirect heat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
6.
Serve the sliders in the centre of the table, for everyone to help themselves, taking care with the hot skillet.
