Christmas Cooked Ham with Caramelised Carrots

30 minutes | easy | Serves 4

Ingredients

  • Use a cooked Ham or boil a Gammon for 20 minutes per ½kg
  • 8 cloves Garlic
  • 10g Red Peppercorns
  • 50ml Maple Syrup
  • 50ml Rapeseed Oil
  • 8 whole Carrots

Directions

Score

Score a criss-cross pattern with a sharp knife in the top fat of the ham

Brush

Brush the top with the rapeseed oil

3.

Place red peppercorns

Place red peppercorns in each square corner

Drizzle the maple syrup

Drizzle the maple syrup over the top

Peel and cut the carrots

Peel and cut the carrots lengthways into quarters

6.

Prep garlic

Peel and cut the garlic in half

7.

Coat carrots

Coat the carrots and garlic with rapeseed oil

8.

Grill

Place the ham and carrots onto the Outback grill and cook for 10 minutes turning occasionally
